This Privacy Policy was last updated on September 23, 2026. It explains what information TripoSR.org collects when you visit the website or sign in with your Google account, how that information is used, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can have it deleted.
Who We Are
TripoSR.org ("TripoSR.org", "we", "us") helps creators, designers, and developers turn images and text prompts into ready-to-use 3D models right in the browser. The hosted version on this site is built on the open-source TripoSR model, so you can try it without installing anything or setting up a GPU. If you ever have a question about your data, we are happy to help. You can reach us at support@triposr.org.
Information We Collect
We collect: (1) account information you share through Google Sign-In: your name, email address, profile picture URL, and Google account ID; (2) content you submit, such as uploaded images and text prompts, and the 3D models generated from them; (3) purchase information, such as your plan, order ID, and credit balance (card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers); (4) technical and usage data, such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate country derived from your IP address.
Google User Data
When you choose "Sign in with Google", we request only the basic openid, email, and profile scopes. We receive your name, email address, profile picture URL, and Google account ID. We use this data only to create and identify your TripoSR.org account, keep you signed in, show your name and avatar in the site header, link your credits, purchases, and generated models to your account, and contact you about your account or purchases. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service, and we never post anything on your behalf.
How We Handle Google User Data
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train AI or machine learning models. We do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that host our database and only as needed to run the service, or when required by law. TripoSR.org's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke TripoSR.org's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate your account and credit balance, generate the 3D models you request and let you view and download them again, process purchases and refunds, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse of free credits, and understand in aggregate which pages and features are used so we can improve the site. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Service Providers We Share Data With
We share data only with providers that help us run TripoSR.org, each limited to what it needs: Google (Sign-In and Google Analytics), Cloudflare (website hosting, database, and file storage for uploads and generated models), Lemon Squeezy (payment processing and invoicing as merchant of record), Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly visit statistics), and GPU inference providers that process the images or prompts you submit in order to produce your 3D model. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Uploaded images and generated models stay in your account so you can download them again until you ask us to remove them. To delete your account and all associated data, including the data we received from Google, email support@triposr.org from the address you signed in with. We delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or accounting purposes, such as payment receipts held by Lemon Squeezy.
Data Security
All traffic to TripoSR.org is encrypted with HTTPS. Account data is stored with our hosting provider behind access controls, sign-in tokens are verified on our servers, and access to production data is limited to authorized team members. We regularly review these technical and organizational safeguards to keep your information protected against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@triposr.org. We respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for making a request.
Cookies and Analytics
We use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in and a few cookies needed for sign-in and checkout. We use Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics to measure how the site is used in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or stop some features from working.
AI Inputs and Generated Content
Images and prompts you submit are used only to generate your 3D model and to show it back to you in your account. We do not use your uploads or your generated models to train AI models, and we do not publish them. Generated 3D models belong to you, subject to the Terms of Service.
International Data Transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses offered by those providers.
Children's Privacy
TripoSR.org is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact support@triposr.org and we will delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal requirements change. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use Google user data, we will ask for your consent again before applying it.
